Paddle Care
A few consistent habits help protect the surface, structure, grip, and finish of your ZO paddle.
AFTER PLAY
- Wipe the paddle with a soft, slightly damp cloth.
- Dry it fully before placing it in a cover or bag.
- Remove visible moisture, court dust, and residue without aggressive rubbing.
- Let a damp grip air-dry naturally.
CLEANING
Use water sparingly. Do not soak the paddle or use solvents, alcohol, bleach, abrasive cleaners, stiff brushes, sanding blocks, pressure washers, or heat to dry it. A model-specific instruction on the product page takes priority over this general guide.
STORAGE
Store the paddle in a dry, temperate place. Avoid prolonged heat, freezing conditions, direct sunlight, high humidity, and heavy pressure. Do not leave it for extended periods inside a hot vehicle. Use a paddle cover during transport.
COURT USE
Avoid striking the ground, net system, fence, wall, or another paddle. Do not use the paddle to move balls along an abrasive court surface. Edge protection reduces ordinary contact damage but cannot prevent every impact.
SURFACE AND GRIP WEAR
Texture, spin response, finish, grip feel, and edge protection naturally change with time and play. This is normal wear rather than a manufacturing defect. Replace a worn grip when it no longer provides secure control.
MODIFICATIONS
Do not drill, sand, heat, coat, repaint, delaminate, or structurally alter the paddle. Any accessory or weight adjustment must comply with the rules governing your play. Unauthorized modification may affect performance, safety, approval status, and warranty eligibility.
WHEN TO STOP USING THE PADDLE
Stop using the paddle and contact ZO if you notice a sharp exposed edge, significant crack, loose structural component, or sudden change that may affect safe use.
